About Your Visit

Location

The Speech Language Learning Center is located in the Oak Creek Plaza on Linden Road in Flint Township. You'll love our safe, convenient location with front door parking for easy access. Get directions to our Flint Township, Michigan speech therapy center.

We Treat Children & Adults

We are a full-service private practice providing evaluation, diagnosis, and individualized treatment for patients of all ages, from children to seniors. We have a family-centered philosophy.

Is This Your First Visit?

  • If so, welcome! We are committed to providing you and your family the best speech therapy possible. If the patient is a child, please bring the child rested and fed to make them comfortable during the session.
  • Please take a few minutes to print out either the Child Case History Form or the Adult Case History Form and complete as much of it as you can and bring it to your first visit. The therapist engaged in the evaluation will ask lots of questions in regards to medical history. When the patient is a child questions can include, when did the child first start to talk, walk, etc.? Parent involvement is very important during the child speech evaluation.
  • Also, please bring any speech therapy prescription from your overseeing physician and any reports from past therapists. These can include IEP, evaluation or discharge reports.
  • Please print out and complete as much as you can on the Insurance Form if applicable and bring it with you to the appointment.

Insurance & Billing

There is a great need for speech therapy services in Genesee County. We are committed to making our services affordable. We work with many insurance companies.
The Speech Language Learning Center works with many different insurance companies such as:

  • BCBS Traditional & PPO
  • MESSA
  • Medicare
  • Hap Insurance
  • Cofinity
  • Priority Health
It is the patient's responsibility to check on their own insurance policy for coverage. Even though you have coverage does not guarantee payment. We will bill to insurances as a courtesy for our patients but cannot guarantee speech coverage or payment! The patient is responsible for any charges that the insurance company does not cover co-payments and deductibles.
